The best time to visit Doddamakali Fishing Camp is during and just after the monsoon between July, August and February.

Bheemeshwari Fishing Camp


The Bheemeshwari Fishing Camp is just 100 Kms. drive from Bengaluru city via Kanakapura. We can see more than 200 species of birds at Bheemeshwari Fishing and nature camp.

Galibore Fishing Camp


The Galibore Fishing and Nature Camp is just over two hour drive from Bengaluru city. Galibore Fishing Camp is 95 km from Bangalore, 16 km away from Bheemeshwari. Galibore fishing and nature camp is far away from the maddening crowds of the city, deep in the forests of Cauvery wild life sanctuary.

We can see around 200 species of birds around the Galibore fishing and nature camp. We can also see animals like Spotted Deer, Sambar, giant squirrel, jackal etc. You could even see the leopards and elephants at Galibore fishing and nature camp near Bengaluru. The mighty Mahseer Fish is the main attraction of the Galibore fishing camp.

You can hire a taxi from Bengaluru and reach the place within 2 hours. The fishing camp is 85 Kms. away from Mysore via Malavalli. The fishing camps are 245 Kms. away from Ooty hill station via Mysore. The nearest air port and railway station is Bengaluru which is 100 Kms. away.
