Bengaluru is ready to Celebrate 61st Republic Day
Bengaluru City is going to celebrate 61st year of Republic day with the country. There are strict security measures taken during this event starting from Saturday to D-Day.Security:
About 1800+ security personnel are being deployed in various areas for the security.
There are about 12 CCTV installed in and around the Parade Ground with some especial DCP, ACP and Police inspectors working for on D-Day.
The event will take place from :
Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground, Cubbon Road on Tuesday at 9 am. where the Governor HR Bharadwaj will receive the salute. Bangalore City Traffic Police have made traffic arrangements in and around the Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground (Brigade Parade Grounds)..
Do & Don'ts while attending the Parade:
1) People attending the parade should not carry mobile phones, camera, handbags, radio, umbrellas and any sort of equipment in the Parade Ground.
2) All people should by 8:30 am in the parade. Any person after 8:30 will not be allowed
Traffic Updates:
Traffic wil diverted from 8:30 am to 10:30 am from BRB Junction to Kamaraj Junction on Cubbon Park.
