Reserve Bank of India has decided to get a symbol for our Indian Rupee which will bring our rupee a global recognition.
The currency symbol are being used by United States $, Europe has Euro, Japan has Yen and Pound. In this same pattern RBI has decided to give Indian rupee a symbol.
The have shortlisted 5 designs and will be deciding which symbol will represent in Indian rupee in Global Market.
