    Why BMTC Bus Stops In between the Road

    Why BMTC Bus Stops In between the Road??

    Hello,

    Any body observed BMTC Buses never stop near the BUS STOPS, they will stop where people are standing in crowd in that place only they will stop. Even Passenger's never stand in Bus shelters,(unless if it's rain's)lot many people shy to stand in Bus shelter.

    Most of the Volvo buses stop in between the road as if they are the King of the road, even the Driver never mind to stop the bus in center the Road( not left side)how much traffic jam happen driver is least bother, & they not even let other to go also

    Hi Kiran,
    It is not the fault of the driver, its the fault of the passenger who wants to get off at a spot most convienient to him/her. Yes, to a certain extent, the driver can instill some discipline upon himself and he can bring the bus to halt in a proper way... but why would we and why does he care!!!.

    the Volvos should chart out some best practices so that it does not trouble other vehicle users.
