Lal Bagh Botanical Garden is one of best Botanical Garden in the Bangalore city. The garden lies in the heart of the city and also called as Lal Bagh.

The garden was built by Hyder Ali, then Mysore ruler. Lal Bagh is famous for its Glass house, Flowers shows held on 26th Jan and 15th August round the year. Lal Bagh also has an aquarium and a beautiful lake, which has also a major tourist attraction and morning walk place for many Bangaloreans.

Lal Bagh is internal part of every Bangalorean staying Bangalore or visiting Bangalore any time of the year.

Information about Lal Bagh

1) Lal Bagh is open from 6.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. throughout the year. For morning Walkers, now they will need to just pay nominal fee and is open ffrom 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. At other times, a fee of Rs.10/- is charged. Entry for school children and the disabled is free all day.

2) Flower shows twice a year.

3) Janapada Jaatre is held by Karnataka Government every second and fourth weekends
