Cubbon is one of the oldest park in the Bengaluru city. This park is surrounded by all major Government offices and some of the best infrastructure and business areas of the city.
The Cubbon Park:
Cubbon is located in right between many administrative area of Bangalore also known as Sri Chanarajendra Park. The park has many administrative or Government buildings in and around it like Vidhana Soudha, Attara Kacheri (High Court) and many other buildings.
The part is about 100 years also and was built by a Sir John Meade. In 1927 it was named as Sri Chamarajendra Park to mark the silver jubilee for Sri Krishnaraja Wadiyar.
The park covers about 100 acres of land and has a varieties of plants with rich and exotic botanical species found.
Visit and Events in Cubbon Park: Dancing Musical Fountain is organized everyday from 7.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. each lasting for half an hour. Cubbon park is closed on every Monday and Second Tuesday of the month.
This is place where most of Bangaloreans visit every day for Morning walks and spend their some time.
